Multiple fully-funded Ph.D.(26 Fall) and visiting scholars (at any time) in electrical engineering are available at OSU. The lab is looking for self-motivated Ph.D. students with research experiences/interests in power and energy areas, which include but are not limited to
1) Resilient distribution grid operation with high-level renewable penetration
2) AI and large language models for the energy-climate nexus.
Preference will be given to those with a strong mathematical background, good programming skills, and familiarity with one or more tools: MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, Python, OpenDSS, PSS/E, CPLEX, and GAMS.
